Submission is open to filmmakers, designers, photographers, agencies, professionals, new talents and students from the audiovisual, fashion and advertising sector to submit their films.
The board of selectors chooses and invites films to be presented in Sarajevo film festival competition programme sections, as well as in several non-competitive festival programmes. By submitting your work, you will automatically be entered into the selected film category.
What are the rules?
The submission may not contain indecent adult material; contain threats to any entity, place, group, or world peace; or violate any applicable laws.
The submission may not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights or infringe any third party’s privacy rights.
The submission must not contain any third party work, including any musical recording or composition, unless you have a license to use such work in the submission from the owners-licencors; such work is in the public domain
You must not breach any contractual obligation in submitting your submission. You must provide any licenses, permissions, or releases to contest parties upon request. Failure to provide such documentation or comply with any of the foregoing requirements may result in the disqualification of your submission.
All submissions must contain:
- If the film's original language is other than English, the festival requires receiving on-screen English subtitles
- Photo of the director
- Director’s biography and filmography
- One or more stills from the film
- Dialogue or spotting list in English
- Film clips / trailer
