The Strange Story of a Shining Pearl
In the flow of life, daily decisions and choices that we make create alternative universes where there might exist our duplicates who have been through different experiences. Is there any way to reach them? Can we reach through love and family ties?
This short film is the story of two young sisters trying to reach a magical and shining pearl through the orders of their deceased grandmother, which will open a portal to parallel universes. Will the grandmother reunite with her dead husband again? Can she show her granddaughters that everything is fine?
“The Strange Story of a Shining Pearl” is a fantasy-drama short film taking viewers across time, space, existence and reality.

After this, he established the production department of Oflaz Media and for a while he was in charge of the digital platform called Filbox Hemen. He founded Mug Production in 2012 and still continues to work as a director, script writer and producer for cinema, TV series and advertisements.

Fashion Bodies: About Limits, Opinions and War Paint.
Fashion Bodies - About Limits, Opinions and Warpaint is an audiovisual manifesto that brings to the forefront stories from three real people about their relation and experiment with fashion on the way to claim their self-acceptance, image and identity. Through the mix of a semi-documental approach with a fantasy-like atmosphere, this short film shows the constant and unbalanced dance between the constraints and freedoms embedded in ourselves as fashion bodies.

"Para una imagen rota" ("To a broken image") is a poetic representation of the pressure on women to meet beauty standards in today’s society. Through an elaborately choreographed contemporary dance, our fears and unachievable self-expectations are personified. This way we explore and transmit the suffocation and pain society provokes on 21st century women, in a metaphorical way.
Mikaela Guariniello, a 27-year-old female director. I'm half-Chilean, half-Argentinian, with Italian roots, and I am currently based in Madrid, where I've lived since I was 8.
I've been working in Advertising since 2015 and have directed both commercials and artistic projects in Mexico, London, Barcelona and Madrid.
My work has a strong sense of poetry. I'm deeply interested in exploring and portraying universal emotions through sensory visual language. I like to find beauty in the small details, as well as exploring their profoundness through the camera. I enjoy exploring narrative in different forms, which is why I not only direct but I also write scripts, poetry and short stories.
I graduated from the University Carlos III of Madrid in 2015 with a bilingual MA in Film, TV and Media Studies that included an ex-change program with the University of Torino (Italy).
I won the Vimeo award at the Sundance Channel Short Contest (European) for my first short film, “Sometimes comes sadness” , which I shot whilst at university.
During this time, I also attended various writing courses on poetry and narrative. My collection of short stories, “La Culpa y otros tales”, was selected by the Festival Eñe (Spain) in the section “Four editors in search of an author”.

A tribute to the Pre-raphaelite brotherhood by telling the story of the creation of some of the most famous paintings, especially the most known "Ophelia" by Sir John Everett Millais. Where we can see nature taking more and more place in the art.
The group's intention was to reform art by rejecting what it considered the mechanistic approach.
Hadi Moussally was born in Lebanon in 1987.
By age 18, he decides to go study film direction in France where he acquires a first master’s degree in “Fiction Cinema” from Paris-Est Marne la Vallée University. Moussally then chooses to take on a complementary masters in “Documentary and Anthropological Cinema” from Paris X Nanterre University, in the course of Jean Rouch. In that respect, Hadi Moussally acquainted himself with reality-cinema. The anthropological and documentary approach accustoms him with the sense of keen observation of his subjects and alerts him to the importance of instantaneous shooting; whereas his fictional background gives him the urge of creating sensual, esthetically pleasing imagery universes.
From 2012, Hadi Moussally shifts towards the world of fashion and directs several experimental films some of which received various distinctions in festivals. In 2014 he made his first documentary on the end of his grandmother's life, and in 2016 a docu-portrait on a senior model. In 2018 he completed an experimental project on albinism "Positive" whose photos have been exhibited at the UNESCO, the City Hall of Paris and Beirut Art Fair as well. In 2015 he founded the production unit H7O7 whose main objective is to enable the making and promotion of films and photos with "hybrid" vocation where is privileged the mixture of genres between experimental, documentary, fashion and fiction. In 2020, he founded the collective “Hybrid Wave” with around 30 hybrid artists from around the world.

Looking for a new place to begin.
The short film starring (and voiced) by the incensed actor Johnny Massaro, portrait the life of a young singer who gets explored by the concept of restart and identity through his conflicted life, caused by image ́s overvaluation in social networking times. Amidst his struggle with his own ego, the character creates a platonic relationship with an inanimate version of himself.

FASHION VICTIM
My plan wants to highlight the neologism coined by the well-known designer of Dominican origin Oscar De La Renta, to indicate the fashion victims as people who, in an uncritical and passive way, follow the dictates of fashion.
Vulnerability and transience in the face of materialism leads these subjects to be considered victims, on the one hand of social prejudices and on the other of the interests of the fashion industry itself, two of the main excesses in this field.
Excess is the key that transforms a symptom into a pathology. Just as a fashion victim is considered such when she exceeds her looks, leading them to exaggeration, even a slight mental disorder can turn into an obsession when an individual alters his or her thoughts, doubts, hypotheses, fear about a particular topic. This exaggeration connects this concept to the three main disorders, from the psychiatric point of view of obsession: obsessive-compulsive disorder, dysmorphobic disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
I'm Francesca Albergo, I'm 24 years old, I live in Paullo (MI), graduated from high school of human sciences and graduated in Fashion Styling and Communication in Naba (New Academy of Fine Arts) in Milan.
I am passionate about fashion and cinema, passions cultivated over the years, both thanks to the various workshops and thanks to the theater academy attended in 2016, a choice that I would undertake a million times. Theater changes you deep down, and it's true.
Later and during my academic career, I worked as an assistant stylist for 'TheGreatest' Magazine and a dressmaker for the 2018-2019 collection of Prada, Fendi and Armani.
I am in love with the world of cinema, which is why I decided to write a short film, as well as my fashion film presented to you which is called Fashion Victim.

+7 HOURS
"+7 HOURS" is a project of IVAN ASEN 22, conceptual designers` platform in Sofia, Bulgaria, aiming to interweave the Japanese and Bulgarian culture through the visual language of contemporary fashion design. The result - an exhibition-a spatial fashion installation of conceptual garments developed by nine Bulgarian fashion designers and four Japanese fashion design students, accompanied by a fashion film is a collaboration between Bulgarian and Japanese artists, featuring actress Irmena Chichikova.
The inspiration comes from the traditional Japanese and Bulgarian culture, the personal story of the owners of authentic Japanese kimonos, combined with the phenomena of contemporary urban life and lifestyle in both countries.
Two are the main thematic complexes we associate with our understanding of Japan: preservation of tradition and technological progress.
"+ 7 HOURS", which literally indicates the time difference between the two countries, Bulgaria and Japan, in transcendent sense carries the breath-taking spirit of overtaking time, futurism and utopia, crossing time and space and their cancellation, the ability to reach out and touch two remote worlds and cultures in a foreseeable period of time. The number 7 is a symbolic number for the project?s participants: this is the number of our seven transitional and insomnia nights, of the hours we spent for our photo- and film-shootings in Tokyo, the seven days full of intense meetings, observation, visits and working during our research travel to Japan, the need for so much more than seven hours in order to get to know more facets from the Japanese ambiance and culture. The motto of the number seven is also not random: Understanding. Understanding and respecting the foreign culture. Understanding of the own one, re-considered anew by its encounter with the distant and magical culture of Japan and the sense of transcendental closeness.
